2022-23 Tryout Registration

Attention players/goalies trying out for WORA’s spring tryouts at the U14, U16 and U19 age levels.

Teams Hosted

This year WORA will be hosting U14A, U14AA, U16A, U16AA, U19A and U19AA competitive teams for the 2022-2023 season.

Reminder: You must register your intent with the Eastern Ringette Association here, as well pay the WORA tryout fee here prior to the first session.

WORA Tryout Package

When registering for WORA tryouts with this link, prior to paying, the competitive commitment waiver is to be read and signed. It is attached to this email as a reminder.

WORA Tryout & Jerseys Fees

Tryout fees are $75, plus $37 for a set of WORA tryout jerseys. If you already have a set of jerseys, you do not need to buy another set. The jerseys are mandatory for tryouts.

Tryout fees must be paid at least 24 hours in advance of the first session.

If paying your fees using e-transfer, please include the player’s name and age group in the comments.

Conditioning Sessions

Conditioning sessions will be offered to all players who are trying out with WORA. The cost of conditioning is included in the tryout fee. Each division will receive a one hour time slot of conditioning ice. Condition is not mandatory but it is strongly recommended.

The tryout schedules are now live on the West Ottawa Website under the Tryouts/Sortouts tab (see links below). Please review schedules daily as they may be subject to change.

How to prepare for Tryouts

CORA put together a great video for players and goalies on how to get ready for tryouts. WORA takes a very similar approach during tryouts, so we suggest that all players watch the video.
